Hi, I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Adrian. I am a wife, stay at home mom, and follower of Jesus. Let me tell you a little bit about myself.
A Little Bit of my Story.
I grew up in Oregon, in the beautiful Willamette Valley. Surrounded by a wonderful community, two loving parents, and 8 younger siblings, I had an amazing childhood.
When I was 23 years old, the Lord saved me and started me on a journey I never would have dreamed of. A little over a year later, He called me to go to Honduras to be a teacher. It was surprising, to say the least. I did not have a teaching degree, and I didn’t speak Spanish. Who was I to go? Thankfully, the Lord doesn’t call us based on our qualifications; in fact, the private, bilingual, Christian school that wanted me to be a teacher didn’t care about either of those “important” qualifications. Their requirements: Have a high-school diploma, speak English, love Jesus, and love kids. According to their requirements, I was perfectly qualified.
My Experience Teaching in a Third World Country

I spent 5 years living and teaching in Honduras. During that time, I learned so much about teaching, kids, myself, God, and I even learned Spanish. My first year in Honduras, I taught 5th grade (math, reading, writing, science, history, art, etc.). In the second and third years, I was a 1st grade teacher. Then in my fourth and fifth years, I switched gears a little bit. I had just gotten married, and decided I wanted a change from the traditional classroom so I would have more time to spend with my husband. Six local families approached me and asked me to be the private teacher for their children, in a homeschool/one-room schoolhouse style setting. This ended up being the perfect position for me for those first couple years of marriage.
Why I Started my Business

My husband and I have since moved to the United States and have started our family. When our daughter was born, I decided I wanted to be a stay-at-home mom. As rewarding as that is, I still wanted to be able to contribute financially to our home. So, taking my experience as a teacher, my love of designing resources on the computer, and my limited available time as a mom, I decided to start an online Etsy shop and a TPT shop selling downloadable/printable educational resources for teachers and homeschool moms.
My Hopes and Dreams for this Blog
I have many hopes and dreams for this blog. I hope that here you will be able to find a community of like-minded moms and teachers all striving to teach the hearts and minds of our kids so they can grow up to be followers of Jesus and intelligent individuals, equipped for the ups and downs of this life. Here, I hope to provide you with: learning tips and ideas, hands-on printable activities, encouragement for Christian homeschool moms and teachers, free printables, and faith-based content. Right now, as I’m writing this in 2025, my shops as well as my blog will mostly focus on resources for toddlers through first grade. However, it is my hope that as my family grows and I start to homeschool, I will be able to provide even more resources for older grades and homeschool tips and encouragement.
Come With me on my Journey
I hope you will stick around and grow with me on this journey. Feel free to follow me on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest. Also, don’t forget to find and follow my Etsy and TPT shops so you can receive notifications when I upload a new product.
Dios le bendiga. God bless you.
